WHO ARE WE?
CrossFit Stratford is not your typical gym. We are a community of like-minded people who work and play hard. Our training philosophy is simple: lift heavy things, move fast, don’t quit. We use elements of weightlifting, gymnastics and monostructural movements (cardio) to prepare for life outside the gym.
We have members from all walks of life – students, moms, doctors, engineers, military, police, firemen, teachers, expecting mothers, bankers and pretty much everything in between. We have members of all fitness levels – former pro and collegiate athletes, weekend warriors to beginners who have never lifted a weight or run more than a mile. But all of our members have a few things in common. They all care about their health and they all want to get better every day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wait, what's CrossFit?
To be technical, it is constantly varied, functional movement, done at relatively high intensity. What that means in English is we do a bunch of different workouts, comprised of simple body-weight and free-weight movements, and we work hard.
How much do Fundamentals cost?
Fundamentals cost $249+hst. This includes 4 private/semi-private sessions to get you ready for CrossFit classes. Upon completion of Fundamentals you will also receive one month of unlimited classes for free!
Who has to do Fundamentals?
Anyone who is new to CrossFit has to take Fundamentals. This is the best and safest way to ensure new members success in the gym.
What do I wear?
Clothes that you are comfortable moving in. Generally speaking shorts and a T-shirt are fine. You can also bring a sweat towel and a water bottle if you'd like to.
What if I've done CrossFit before?
Awsome! If you’ve done the introductory course at another CrossFit Gym and you were an active member there for at least 3 months, you're good to go. However, if the extent of your of your CrossFit experience is,“My buddy showed me some moves in his garage,” or “I’ve watched all the videos online” that's great but we still require you take Fundamentals.
